Is Ophiuchus really part of the zodiac?
Ophiuchus is one of the constellations crossed by the ecliptic, and the Sun appears in front of it around late November through mid-December. It is a constellation, not one of the twelve equal tropical astrological signs.
Is this an official calendar?
No. It is the Earth Sync calendar: thirteen months of 28 days, beginning on March 20. A Day of Return sits outside the months, with a Leap Day when needed.
Are the sky readings based on my location?
