New NXP’s MIMO WiMAX Transceivers for Mobile Devices

NXP announced the WiMAX 2×2 MIMO transceivers for mobile and handheld applications. By Implementing 2×2 MIMO technology, the new WiMAX transceiver can handle for twice data throughput and double the maximum speed of the NXP’s existing WiMAX transceiver solutions.

Samples of UXA23466 and UXA23476 WiMAX 2×2 MIMO transceivers are available now. The price is around $13.50.

Volume production is scheduled to be started in Q2 2007.
