Agilent E6651A Mobile WiMAX Test Set

Agilent Technologies Inc., announced its IEEE 802.16e 2005 Protocol Conformance Test (PCT) Solution. This new product is based on the Agilent E6651A Mobile WiMAX Test Set. Protocol Conformance Test Solution is created in conjunction with Innowireless Co. Ltd., this breakthrough PCT capability will enable WiMAX designers to verify protocol implementations and quickly get products to market.

Agilent's E6651A Mobile WiMAX Test Set allows equipment developers and test houses to run validated protocol test cases to verify that their implementations conform to WiMAX standards. Developers can also create custom TTCN-3 test cases to fully stress the limits of their designs. Beginning in June 2007, Agilent plans to support subscriber station testing for WiMAX profiles 1A and 3A.
